A Quick Journey through the Bible will occur over eight Mondays and will be facilitated by James Cavanagh, the director of Evangelization from the Archdiocese.

This Bible study is based upon the work developed by Jeff Cavins.  His Great Adventure series is a Catholic Bible learning system that makes the complex simple by teaching the story (the narrative) of the Bible. At. St. James we'll be starting with the "quick journey' series which is meant to provide an introduction to The Bible Timeline learning system along with a meaningful overview of salvation history. Jeff Cavins briefly covers Salvation History in a series of eight, half-hour taped talks that are complemented by group discussion questions, useful maps and charts, and brief assignments for home study.   This is a great way to “get your feet wet” and learn how to begin authentic Catholic Bible study.

There is a cost associated with this bible study ($30 pp or $45 per couple) and we're hoping that people will register by Jan 25 by calling the Office of Evangelization at 303-715-3260.  Free babysitting will be provided.  These sessions will begin at 6:30 pm and ending at approximately 8:00 pm, and will be in the parish hall.
