COVID-19 – All Masses Cancelled

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I know all of us, we are really concerned about the current situation in our country and in the world. This is a call from God to come back to Him especially as we are in this Season of Lent with prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

I invite each of us to remain close to the Lord and in communion with our Bishops. The procedures that have been implemented are to safeguard each of us in the containment of this outbreak. For this reason, all the Masses here at St. James will be suspended through the end of March. As you may know, this is an act of charity towards one another.

You are invited to follow Mass on TV on: Sunday Broadcast Times on CPT12: Mass in English: Sundays at 6:30 a.m. and Mass in Spanish: Sundays at 7:00 a.m. Recorded Masses available on Archdiocese YouTube Page.

However, we will continue to offer Confessions, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, each day Monday thru Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., Saturday from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. During these times the church will be open for private prayers. Our Adoration Chapel will also remain available as usual.

You can be sure that you are in my prayers at this time. The office will remain open during this time.

Father Jesus Garcia
